About Frontier College: Frontier College is a national leader in literacy, and BC’s original non-profit literacy organization with numerous program partnerships in the Lower Mainland and in Indigenous communities throughout the province. We believe literacy is a right. Our mission is to work with volunteers and community partners to deliver literacy programs to children, youth, and adults in communities across the province, helping people develop the skills and confidence they need to accomplish their goals through literacy. Last year, Frontier College reached more than 2,364 learners in BC, working with 143 volunteers and 40 community partner organizations. We have a strong presence in volunteer-based literacy tutoring, book donation, and innovative program collaborations with community partners.
